UNITED WAY GRANTS ON SCHEDULE
Now more than ever, our local non-profits need resources as they ramp up to meet the needs of those affected physically, mentally, and economically by COVID-19. To this end, United Way of Mesa County (UWMC) is adjusting its citizen review process to comply with public safety guidance, and yet ensure that grants to nonprofits are awarded on schedule. We are committed to getting community dollars out to our nonprofit partners so that they can make the biggest impact.
Although we do not have a special fund for individual assistance, we will continue to be a conduit for information. We will update our website with resources for both non-profits and individuals as we become aware of them.
At United Way of Mesa County, we believe that the caring power of the community can provide everyone the opportunity to reach their full potential.
