United Way of Mesa County Announces New Board Members
Mesa County, Colo. – As we start the new fiscal year, our Board of Directors is welcoming new members. Greg Coren is serving his second consecutive year as Board President and we are thrilled he is remaining in his leadership position. He has served on United Way’s Board of Directors since 2014. Greg is the Senior Manager of Rocky Mountain Health Plans.
Three others recently joined the United Way of Mesa County Board of Directors: Darrel Allen, Director of Business Development at The Daily Sentinel; Bryan Johnson, Vice President Chief Operating Officer at St. Mary’s Medical Center; and Jon Tadvick, Director at The Fountains of Hilltop. They will work alongside 10 other esteemed members who oversee the financial management and strategic direction of United Way of Mesa County.
“Our hard-working Board of Directors is committed to improving the long-term outlook for our community. It’s a pleasure to work with this talented, diverse group of volunteers,” Julie Hinkson, Executive Director of United Way of Mesa County said.
United Way of Mesa County fights for the health, education and self-reliance of every person in Mesa County. The mission of UWMC is to meet human service needs through excellent stewardship of resources entrusted by the community. We strive to create a community of philanthropists, identify current and emerging human service needs in our community, and support effective agencies to fully meet those needs.
With donations from workplace campaigns, individual contributions and corporate gifts, UWMC has invested more than 20 million dollars since 1959 into improving the health, education and self-reliance of our community.
