United Way of Mesa County Announces New Board President, Member

Mesa County, Colo. –  United Way of Mesa County’s Board of Directors brought on new leadership this fall. Laura Glatt took over as Board President. She has served on United Way’s Board of Directors since 2017. Laura is the Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO at Colorado Mesa University. She succeeded Greg Coren who is remaining on our board as Immediate Past President.

Erika Hoy, Quality Improvement Manager at Mind Springs Health , has joined the board. She will work along twelve other esteemed members who oversee the financial management and strategic direction of United Way of Mesa County.

“Our hard-working Board of Directors is committed to improving the long-term outlook for our community. It’s a pleasure to work with this talented, diverse group of volunteers,” Julie Hinkson, Executive Director of United Way of Mesa County said.

With donations from workplace campaigns, individual contributions and corporate gifts, UWMC has invested more than 20 million dollars since 1959 into improving the health, education and self-reliance of our community.
